About Grace
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, my passion for style was shaped by my grandmother and best friend, Honey Bee, whose husband, designer Victor Costa, sparked my love for innovative fashion. After moving to New York to work in a quiet luxury showroom on Madison Avenue, I discovered a world where creativity could thrive beyond traditional fashion standards.
I further honed my skills through online studies at FIT and Parson’s School of Design, embracing a style philosophy that blends personal confidence with a touch of individuality. My approach to styling is all about creating unique and confident looks that push fashion boundaries without losing sight of personal style.
After reading Annette Tapert and Diana Edmund’s book; The Power of Style, I defined my style as Retro-Classic. This means being able to suit Hollywood Icons like Gloria Swanson in Chanel and Dior, but also to create editorial stories that can be dressed in designers like Moschino, Acne Studios, and Loewe that tell sentimental tales of the human experience.
